1. STEP

Purchase extended variant

Your registration email has been initially set as the project author's email. Please purchase the 'extended' version for $0.

This will grant you the ability to edit budget items, including material specifications and implementation details.

Basic and extendded variant

Switching project variants. You can add it to your cart here or in the standard product block above. After "purchase," you will also see an icon to download the project documentation.

Material and execution switching

Switching between material and execution still displays an aggregated, yet more detailed price breakdown – material costs and implementation costs. At the same time, switching triggers the item detail modal window to the related section.

2. STEP

Edit material specifications

This is not a mandatory activity, but it increases the value of the entire extended variant for the buyer. You can use the SEARCHING PRODUCTS function to implement an item into the budget by clicking the APPLY button.

You can then edit it manually. Alternatively, you can edit the item completely by hand.

Note: If the budget is not in your language, the search prompt in SEARCHING PRODUCTS must be entered manually.

Products searching

You can search for suitable products using our Google Shopping integration. If the items are not in your language, remember to adjust the search text manually.

Product details

The link to the given product is applied either automatically from PRODUCTS SEARCHING, or you can edit it manually and also insert your own affiliate code.

3. STEP

Edit execution specifications

Time consumption, workers, difficulty, and notes are mandatory fields. Only after they are edited will the price of the extended variant increase by $1 for each completed budget item.

Timeline, video tutorial, and additional costs are optional fields, but they help users better understand the entire project. In particular, the timeline, which specifies the installation sequence of individual items, can assist in planning the construction schedule.

4. STEP

Updating the x variant

To save your progress while editing budget items, click the UPDATE VARIANT PRICE button. You can then see the changes in both the partial and total budget calculations.

Additionally, the price of the x variant on the e-shop will increase based on the currently completed items.
